Diagnosed with Bi-polar Type II and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Suzi has over twenty five years in recovery from drug addictions. She offers her clients a rare personal perspective and insight.

Suzi began her career in 1983 as a drug counselor for adolescents at Ridgeview Institute, a private, not-for-profit provider of psychiatric and substance abuse treatment.

In 1992 she completed her Master's Degree in Social Work from Ohio State University where she worked in the field of co-dependency and other addictions for five years

Currently Suzi works in private practice helping teens, families, and adults face their issues and create positive change. In addition to private practice, she consults with Gables Academy in Stone Mountain, GA, is a public speaker, and hosts the mental health radio show Change Your Mind, Change Your Life on B98.5 FM (WSB-FM).

Suzi's motto is stolen from a bumper sticker: that says "Let's Put the Fun Back in Dysfunctional" This philosophy of life as well as acknowledging her own brain disorders, sustains her in pursuing her life's mission to decrease the stigma attached to psychological disorders.
